Decided to take advice from this subreddit and take a chance. Girl said yes to dinner but hasn't replied since. Did she just say yes to avoid rejecting me outright?

So the other day I did a post about a female colleague at work I think is interested but I wasn't sure if she was playing games (see below).

Someone on the thread said the fact I hadn't made a proper move was the problem so I decided to just take my chances and ask her to dinner/drinks and said that I liked her. Basically removing any doubt of it being as friends and if the answer was a no I would be fine with it but at least I knew where I stood and stop wasting time/effort. Her response was "yeah sure!" to the dinner among other conversation things which already seems a bit lukewarm in response but hasn't responded to me since last night when I asked what days worked best when she's normally relatively quick.

Now I'm thinking she just said yes to avoid the awkwardness of rejecting me outright which probably makes it a lot worse since I would have just laughed it off the next time I saw her at drinks. She is a bit shy so maybe she's unsure of me but I'm just a bit unclear of the situation now.

I'm not going to keep hounding her to reply or anything of that sort but what would you do in my situation?
