Older guy I’ve been talking to said something that seems like a red flag, but I’m not sure.

I (21F) have been talking to a guy (33m). I’ve never been creeped out by him or the age gap and I’ve always felt comfortable with him. He’s been super considerate and sweet. He knew I was interested in him, we started talking, etc. I’m not sure if I need to include more context, but he said to me today that he was hoping I’d be “more attached and impressionable”. Is this a red flag? It doesnt strike me very hard but I feel like when it comes to older guys with younger girls, that would be an obvious red flag, right? I’m not good at listening to those kind of alarms. I feel sort of like a child now, like he’s been trying to manipulate me, but I’ve made it clear I want to sleep with him, so he doesn’t have to manipulate/trick me? Again I’ve never felt “off” about him in any way and nearly right after that he said (referring to a guy who treated me badly) that some people are insecure and only use relationships for the parts they like, rather than working for a real relationship. I’m just confused. If this post is a mess I’m sorry it’s my first one.
