One of the only real issues I have on the dating scene is that I truly cannot bear clubbing. Not even on the odd occasions every few weeks, I just find literally nothing about clubbing enjoyable, to me it's just a room full of people trying overly hard to be 2 kool 4 skool that is so loud and crowded it is impossible to actually interact meaningfully. I figured the only purpose it ever serves for guys is to get laid, and there are much more efficient ways to get laid than clubbing, and if I am in a relationship then it serves literally no purpose at all.
But it seems that even into their 30s many women still enjoy clubbing occasionally or often. I don't really blame them for it, I kinda get that they get something else out of it; it's a chance for them to dress up, show off their fashion and makeup skills, dance and hang out with friends. If they want to do that then I really don't mind at all. Here's the thing though, they seem to expect me to be into clubbing too, even if occasionally. They often seem to expect guys to want to come as tag alongs on their girls nights out, as if there is anything remotely enjoyable about that for a dude in a relationship.
Are there any guys here who actually enjoy clubbing for what it is? Like do you enjoy.. dressing up and dancing to pop music in a nightclub? Is that a thing and I am just a total stick in the mud or?
And to any women reading that do enjoy clubbing, do you consider it a turnoff if a guy pretty much refuses to go clubbing with you? Like I say I don't care if someone enjoys it I just want to be able to say no thanks without seeming boring.
