I was initially told he was 23 but turns out through some researching that he is 29.. we’ve been dating for almost a year and I tried to look past the fact that he deceived me for months, because of how amazing he treats me in all other ways unlike my past relationship.
I found out for myself as a few things he said didn’t match up with the timeline and he looked older than 23. He apologized numerous times when I confronted him and assumed I would’ve found him creepy if he was the age that he is now for seeing someone as young as I am (18). I forgave him but I can’t figure out why he couldn’t be honest from the beginning, he can’t keep with that lie for forever and I would’ve found out eventually, which I did.
I’m wondering if this is a red flag or should I simply move past it since he is a good boyfriend to me and deeply cares about me.
