So went to a mates party on the weekend, small little thing in his garden and there was this girl there. She wasn't drinking as she was driving but was very into me. And I really like her.
So I got her number which she was happy for when I asked and we've been texting a lot over the last few days. Things seem to be going really well.
So tonight I took her out for a meal, and cocktails after. We've been chatting non stop the entire time, i think she had a good time. But there was nothing affectionate. She seemed to reject and physical contact, attempts at holding hands etc. Felt like I was in the famous friend zone to be honest.
Anyway, wrap up the night as its Wednesday and everything is closed. She lives near me so I offered to walk her home. She was fine with that and we chatted the entire time.
We get to her house and she invites me inside and we sit in her garden chatting for ages, like friends would. She walks me to the door, tells me she had a lovely night, i said the same and kissed her on the lips. It was like, really quick and awkward. I wish her good night and leave.
It was like a constant night of rejecting any comes on from me, but then she kept talking and didn't want it to end.
I'm at a loss to be honest.
For the record I wasn't after getting my leg over or anything, but there was no flirting etc. We had a lot of laughs and seemed to get on really well but it never went above that.
