As the calm type of guy, how do I advertise myself ?

Hey,

First of all , not a native english speaker.

So, I (27M) am going to dive for the first time into the 7th circle of hell that online dating seems to be if you read about it on reddit.

As mentionned, I am the calm type. And i mean calm, not shy or introverted. I have absolutely no issue engaging or sustaining a conversation. The fact is, I kinda want to talk about myself, without sounding boring. I know I am interesting to talk with, i ve been told a few times. My current problem is to get to that point.I need to stay true to myself while writing my profile and still be enticing enough to actually start a conversation. However i want to be as honest as possible, and while showing myself on a good light, not lying/exaggerating.

Truth is, for people my age, my hobbies arent exciting. Like at all, or at least i believe so. What do i do in my free times would you ask? well, i'm an indoor person, so except jogging on a regular basis, mostly reading about philosophy, preparing for my future teacher career, trying to get to the end of netflix, and learning piano on my own (or attempting i d say).

Yup, you read that right, philosophy, sound snobish huh? i noticed that too. Well maybe i am. Id say at best it sounds boring.

So here i am, with writer's block on a dating app. I'm not into sports that much , nor a party animal, which seems to represent a good portion of my male colleagues in the dating sphere around 25-30. At this point, i'm looking for something serious so i hope the "chill and bearded" vibe can get me somewhere, as i seems to stand out of of the crowd.

As for the looks part, i'd say im doing ok, i m of a regular height and weight, decently in shape and apart for a heavily tatooed style that doesnt fit everyone's taste, and contrast a lot with my personnality, i m good. Nothing exceptionnal, but i like myself.

So yeah, any advice taken here. And thanks in advance for reading this unecessary long post and taking time to reply.

I'm also taking advice on how to illustrate myself, like what type of photos could i take to show who i am at first glance ?
