i was due to have a zoom date (corona eh) with a [f22] teacher, for context this was the third date (2 socially-distanced park walks which i felt went fairly well) she agreed to a 3rd date three weeks ago, but had been busy last 2 weekends so had to wait till this weekend, so roll around to this Sunday:
we agree 6pm zoom date last night, she wanted a call in evening rather than afternoon due to some school marking she had to do and wanted to get out the way.
so 15 mins before date she texts:
[17:45][her:] hey, i still have tons of work to do for tomorrow so won't be able to chat for too long tonight, I hope that's ok? x
[17:50][me:] hey, sorry to hear you still have work to do -we can keep it brief sure! (or if you really still need the evening to work then we can postpone, I don't wanna inconvenience you)
she then replied saying she'd rather cancel.. did i fuck up? i realise IF she really liked me she would have made the brief time, so I understand it wasnt meant to be but by offering to postpone did I shoot myself in the foot?
i felt it would be too rude not to offer if someone says they have work due for tomorrow. but now i just feel stood up at the last minute(!)
thoughts gents?
