I’m a 19 year old male, who hasn’t gone on a date in over a year. Before the pandemic I was always really good at talking to women/meeting new women pretty much whenever I wanted, but every since the start of COVID, I’ve been having a lot of trouble finding people. I’ve tried tinder and I get a reasonable amount of likes but I lose interest so fast and have a hard time communicating because it just feels awkward talking to women online. So my recent thought has been to reach out to girls who I haven’t talk to in awhile and try to reconnect but the only problem is I just feel weird doing it. If I were to message a girl who I haven’t talked to in a long while, she automatically knows my intentions and just the thought of this holds me back from taking action. Should I just abandon my fear of having my intentions recognized? Should I put more faith in the great power of dating apps? Is anyone having the same problem? Tips? Anything is appreciated.
