Where has the perception of
‘If you don’t get a GF/BF by insertage your dating life is finished’
I’ve (M22) been scrolling around this subreddit for the past month and it seems quite a common post or similarly worded where people believe it’s the end of the world if they aren’t in a relationship by a certain age. I will admit I felt a similar pressure for a moment being one of the only single friends in my group (next week will be the only one left...🤣) and I do have a relatively large group of friends as well (11/12) so the inclusion of people down my neck ‘when you getting a girlfriend?’ ‘ are you ready for a relationship?’ ‘You should speak to so and so, you’d suit’.......blah blah BLAH!!
It just doesn’t help at all, but I’ll imagine it’ll click when am ready!
Does anyone actually have an idea where it started or anything😂 I’m quite intrigued as my assumption would be from social media but I’m not actually sure!?
