I (23 f) have failed every time I showed interest to someone on a non-dating app. Like Twitter or Instagram. I’m wondering about every one else’s experiences/opinions.
On one hand, only asking people out who are seeking to be asked out (like on an app like Tinder) at least saves us from putting others who are just going about their lives in a tough spot where they would have to reject someone. On the other hand, connections can be made anywhere, and you never know when someone might want to take you up on your offer.
In short, what are your opinions on using non-dating apps to ask people out, even though they aren’t actively looking for dates?
