Hey yall, I'm a 25 gay dude that's new to dating. Recently got tinder so trying to figure that out. I messaged my first match with "howdy" and a reference to their bio, "got any train facts?", it said they were into trains. They have not messaged me back and I feel like my tactic to start a conversation was awkward. I will admit I might just be disappointed that my first match didn't message me. However, I feel the slight urge to message again, it's been 4 days. I kinda really want to talk with them based on their bio and pics.
I know there will be other matches and it is possible that they simply have not seen the message. I guess what I'm wondering is it common/ok to send another message when the first was ignored or should I take a hint?
