Are talkative, extroverted women ever into shy, introverted guys?

I'm quite introverted, and not much of a talker.

However, I do find myself attracted to the energy more outgoing girls exhibit.

Am I wasting my time trying my luck with these types of women, or should I just stick to more introverted types?
