So I (19M) matched with this girl (20F) yesterday morning on Tinder and conversation was nice and she asked me out on a date after maybe a few hours of active conversation, which I accepted because she seemed nice. We soon exchanged phone numbers and continued talking. For the rest of the day she would not stop messaging me, like I would try and space out messages by 10 or 20 minutes at times and she would respond instantly, and would apologize if she left even a 5 minute gap between messages. This went on for hours and hours and it started to get annoying. She also asked really random and odd questions out of no where, like "what were you like as a child?" and stuff like that. Maybe that's just me, but I found it odd.
She messaged me even more this morning, like 10 messages an hour at least. She kept insisting that we hang out today even though I'm sick and don't have the energy to. She kept offering to uber over and give me soup and all that, and I had to say no at least 3 times before she recognized I wasn't interested in that. She apologized for being stubborn, but went on to say that she really wants to meet up with me because she said that I'm a really nice guy who, unlike other guys who have asked her out, wants a relationship.
I haven't messaged her for a couple hours and that's been the longest gap in messages we've had the entire time I've talked to her and it's draining. I've really lost interest because I'm tired of having to respond instantly to everything she says, and her insisting on coming over to my place, despite me saying no several times creeped me out a bit. How do I say I'm not interested in our planned date anymore without coming off as a jerk?
