One piece of advice that has been thrown around a lot, especially on this sub is the line "just be more confident". This stupid line is not is not only not helpful, but it's actually harmful, and total bullshit. People just say it as a reaction without even thinking.
Its total bullshit because "confidence" doesnt exist. ITS NOT REAL. When people say confidence they realy mean (insert positive attribute). When people describe someone who is "confident" they mean someone who is attractive, or wealthy, or charismatic, or tall, or whatever.
Im ugly. Plain and simple, but I have been told by so many attractive people that I just need to be more confident, and it's a total fucking flex. Hot people say this to ugly people all the time, despite never needing confidence themselves. They just want to pretend that they're not just lucky to have been born hot.
