There’s this guy (25M) who I (24F) like in my graduate classes. We see each other every school day & just started having lunch together. We met about 3 months ago but really started to talk about a month ago.
The thing is.. I can’t tell if he just wants to be my friend or if he’s actually interested in me.
He makes comments that we should do things together outside of classes (hiking, going to basketball games, cook, etc.). We haven’t done anything as of yet. He often stays after classes with me to study before going home. And yesterday (very last minute) I asked him if he wanted to have another study session & he drove a hour to campus + picked me up to do so.
There’s a little flirting (mostly on my end) here and there and he’s receptive to it but it kinda just ends there..
Last week we were texting and to a response to one of his messages I said “Not saying you like me or anything😂” in a jokingly manner – hoping this would be the moment that he would tell me but his response was “🤔🤔😏”… I have no idea what that meant lol.
He’s unlike anyone I’ve every talked to (different race & religion) so that’s why I’m kinda confused on how to proceed.
What do you think? And what more(or less) can/should I do?
