I (47M), no kids and never married have had a few dates with someone who's 53F, still legally married, but assures me they are living a separate life from their still married husband.
This was revealed to me straight away as no secret and this woman has been open to me from Day 1 about this. It's only been a few weeks, but I am uncertain about where this will go and if I am just stupid for taking this any further. Some further points:

This woman has been in this situation since 2017/18, I do not know how long this will take, she informs me she is waiting on work to the house to occur and then they will split, sell and she will move on. There is no definitive timeline to this.

She has two adult children, a daughter aged 22 and a son aged 24. The son does not live at home, but the daughter is back from University and still lives at home. They tend to spend Christmas together as family.
I like spending time with this woman and enjoy her company, but this does make me feel uneasy. We talk most nights, lots of video calls etc, so I don't doubt she's sleeping with him or anything.
What worries me is this separation that isn't really a separation. I like to date someone, get to know them and be exclusive and move on together.
What are your thoughts, should I run a mile or play this out?
