Hi! This is the first time I've asked a guy out, and honestly idk how long to wait for his response
Background: we meet each other occasionally while walking our dogs. Mine is pretty young so I take her on long walks, but since his is old now they go on basically poop runs, so we end up meeting about once every few days/weeks
I've always found this guy kinda cute, and he seems fun to hang out with, so today I asked if wants to go to this coffee place nearby. He seemed enthusiastic about it, and asked if I like books, to which I said yes. I really didn't expect that lmao, he looks a little out of my league. Anyway, I actually asked him this while he was going, so he turned around again to say he doesn't have Instagram. I was pretty surprised, but then he told me he had it but deleted it, but that he should probably get it again to add me. We didn't decide on a day/time to meet (which I feel incredibly stupid about) so I'm guessing we'll discuss it over text
Now, how long do I wait for a response? Two of my friends are saying I should give it a couple days, and one of them said I should ask for his number the next time I meet him in case he forgets about this
UPDATE: He just sent me a follow request. Turns out I'm just an overthinker. This is happening
