I (25M) recently met someone (24F) on a dating app. We’ve been talking and moved the convo to texting. I asked her out last week but she was out of town. We kept up the convo all through this week, at least one message a day with questions and thoughtful replies. I again asked her out this weekend, and I’m a bit puzzled by the response:
“Yeah we should if you want to”
Now, I’m probably just insane, but for some reason this is rubbing me a bit strangely (FYI, this wasn’t the full response, just the first sentence). Specifically, saying if you want to sounds off to me. Does it signal disinterest to anyone else? I’d hate to waste my time.
