Hi, I'm an 18 yr old female currently attending college for the first time! I want to see if anyone has any advice they might be able to give me if possible. I've never been on a real date and the last guy I dated was back in high school for around 3 months. I wanted to see what the "adult dating pool" was like now that I'm going to be 19 soon. I keep running into problems whenever I think about signing up for an online dating app/ service or dating in general. First, it's my general anxiety disorder that makes me to scared to romantically reach out to a couple of peers I'm interested in. Then it's the fact that I have a "young face," I swear people think I'm 14 some days the way they look at me. I feel like I've been pushed out of all possibilities of dating and I'm worried I might never get into it. Cheesy enough I'm embarrassed to admit I'm a virgin, I've never gotten that close to someone and I feel a little jealous of other girls sometimes. Everyone seems so sexually liberated and open and I can't even come out of my shell to say "hi." Any body got advice on what I can do to at least get my foot in the door?
