I don’t do ‘tinder’. I don’t really go on ‘dates’, I’ve always felt more confortable meeting someone and getting to know them before getting involved with them...
So, I [23M] was thrilled when I met this lovely girl [24F] with who I have a lot in common two months ago at a party. Because of our shared loved of electronic music, we’ve gone to a couple of dubstep shows/clubnights together, but ‘nothing’ happened.
Every time I see her we both have a great time but I can never tell if she really likes me… or if she was maybe just looking for a friend. My friends who have met her seem to think she’s quite flirty with me… but I didn’t make a move earlier and that’s on me… So maybe she doesn’t realise I like her either.
I thought she maybe wasnt interested in me until this weekend, when she asked me if she could sleep at my place because she has a mice problem in her flat. (She woke up the night before with a mouse in her bed.)
I said of course she could. She mentioned how she had stayed the night before at a friend’s house who had a spare room for her but last night she came over, stayed in my room, in my bed with me. All my friends were saying it was obvious what it implied… but instead of making a move, we ended up just getting high and falling asleep in front of Family Guy…
I was high so not really thinking clearly and was even more anxious than I usually am… Now, I’m wondering if I kinda blew my chance with her or if I’ve just been misreading things all along.
When she woke up this morning, (she had work before I did) she mentioned she might sleep at mine again this evening.
I’d appreciate any advice on what I should do next… I really like this girl… I think she likes me too but I've just always been quite bad at reading these social situations.
