Advice: Please stop confessing to your crushes!! Ask your crush on a date rather than confessing your feelings, as confessing can come off as immature, and puts a lot of pressure on who your asking.

Please note I am still only 17, but I'm in university and have gained enough dating experience to tell you this is a very dumb thing to do. I will also say that this advice is more applicable to older teens. If your still young, like younger than 15 I'm gonna say, no offense but your still quite immature and do not have a great understanding of relationships. Confessing to your middle school crush tends to be more acceptable, as at that age, people tend to confuse infatuation with love.

I must also say, that this does not mean you should not try to court, flirt and date your crush, but do not confess to them that you have always loved them. What you are doing is making them uncomfortable and putting a lot on them even if they do reciprocate your feelings. And here's the thing, they most likely don't reciprocate your feelings. Mature people tend not to have crushes and instead date people to see their options. This is why, you should instead get to know your crush and then ask them on a date. Going to a cafe where you can talk for a few hours is super casual and a good start. It also puts a lot less pressure on you, you are lot less likely to get rejected to grabbing a coffee than wondering if someone has loved you since grade 4 or whatever...
