Asking for the powers of Reddit to come through...
About a week before statewide lockdown, I was at my local pharmacy getting a prescription for my mom. At the pick-up counter/register, this drop-dead gorgeous pharmacist rings me up, and I was left completely swept off my feet.
I’ve seen her a couple times more since then to pick up other things, but I haven’t been back since. I’m trying my best to social distance and help “flatten the curve.”
I’m from New Jersey, and we’re now at about four weeks into the lockdown. The last time I was at the pharmacy, I was wearing gloves and a mask, adhering to recommended guidelines, also not feeling like the most handsome man in the room. More like a cross between a robber and a surgeon.
Any advice on how to ask her for her number during such stressful times? Should I leave her my number and just say hey, if you’re bored and wanna chat? Or is that still too invasive?
Disclaimer: I am pretty sure she is my soulmate. I have never been a dope that believes in love at first sight or any of that b.s. But this is probably the closest thing I’ve encountered...
