Two years ago I (F,25) became obsessed with optimizing my dating profiles (tinder/bumble) and how to 100% swipe back results. Granted, I do have the advantage of being a female so one could say men are a little less picky on swiping on females. But I think that I have nailed down the things that you need to do to attract someone.
Females:
First photo- Cute smiling photo, this photo is the first impression photo. I can not express this enough but if you are trying to date and not just fuck, then make this a photo that you would show your mom. To test, I put a bikini photo up as my first pic and all first comments were just guys trying to fuck, however if that is what you want, then all the power to you and show off them titties!
Bio- Have a fricking bio. I deleted my bio and kept everything the same and 25% less people swiped right on me and of those 25%, 15% were people that I put in the category of 'people I would actually date'. Something clever that shows what you are interested in. Tailor this to your type (if you are superficial AF like me) I like nerdy guys and so I always play up a dorky fact about myself.
LAST PHOTO- Now is when I say release the thirst trap. Congrats, whoever you are trying to attract has looked through all your photos, time to show off what you got.
Males:
First picture- This is your make or break moment. When I am looking for someone the first thing I do is look at their age, education, and job (I know~ its kinda superficial but I know my type) then you get your two second first photo glance. I would say if I decided to look at more photos then its a 50% chance you are getting a right swipe. I better see a fricking smile, just saying, if you are aloof or something, it is an instant no.
Bio- Something funny that also shows what you are interested in. At this point I am looking for common interests and to see if we would get along.
Other photos- If you like skiing, then I better see a goddamn skiing picture. Show what you are interested in or you doing cool stuff. I saw someone say show a group pic, IDC, post the kinda photos that you would want to see your ideal partner doing with you.
