We've seen each other in person only once before quarantine started, and it was not on a date situation. I was interested and asked her out, and she politely declined. Ok, life goes on.
I had already forgotten about it, but in the last three months we got close. We text each other many times a day, share memes and stuff we find interesting and that reminds us of each other. We talk enough to have inside jokes and sometimes share how our days have been and stuff like that. I've been talking to her more than to any of my friends, so the interest came back, and I feel like after knowing me better she's finally interested as well.
My problem is that I'm not sure what to do now. I want to ask her out again, but there's no way we can meet right now (we're both taking quarantine seriously). Also, I find it much harder to tell her how I feel now that we've gotten closer. Maybe asking her out again will ruin a potentially lasting friendship.
What can I do to show her I'm still interested in something more, and what can I do about it when it seems we'll stay stuck at home for the foreseeable future?
