So my current girlfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years and for the most part I feel like I have been making her happy to the best of my ability. But a bunch of my friends seem to think I’m just wasting her time because I haven’t told her “I love you “ (she also hasn’t said it to me). I don’t want her to feel like I’m wasting her time but I just don’t believe that just because someone says they love you means they truly do, I’d rather prove it with my actions. I have tried telling my friends this but they seem to think that cuz I’m a guy I’m trying to be tough and emotionless when that isn’t the case at all. I’m just wondering if anyone has had similar feelings and maybe advice?
