Dear women, Stop shaming other women who are more direct and who actively pursue men by calling them "desperate". It takes guts to put yourself out there and risk being rejected. Stop acting coy when you actually are interested in someone because this just reinforces the icky idea that "no" or "maybe" means "yes". If you like someone, just tell them. It's really that simple. Stop making arbitrary rules around texting back. You look dumb when your phone is in your hand and you're clearly waiting x number of minutes to respond. Stop doing little secret "tests" on men for them to "prove" how they feel about you. You're an adult, you can just ask them. Your femininity and value as a woman is not determined by how many men chase you. If you want someone, make it known. Enough with the games!
