Yes I did it. We meet online (not dating app) and hit it off really good. It's rare for me to get good vibes with a girl like that, it was something, umm, magical.
We had a voice call couple times before she agrees to turn the camera on. The first time we talked over the phone she said "bro" and "dude" and I was somehow disappointed because there's potential.
Anyway, after few times, I decided I don't want to be friendzoned and told her straight "I didn't decide if we're friends or something else yet" I was also flirting the whole time so she gets it. A smooth transition from there to being my girlfriend is complete.
I guess she says "bro" as a habit but still frustrating when you don't know where you stand. My advice is, always bring it up if you want more, be clear to be happy whatever the outcome is.
P.s. she's amazing, the kind of girl i never thought I'd cross paths with, checks all the boxes and would never miss my chance with her.
