In the process of healing from a ghosting right now (situationship).
Things were really nice once upon a time. There were no fights. But, even so, communication on the other side became less and less until it stopped.
In my brain, I know that every person is different. I know that some people do communicate in healthy ways and work through things together.
But, in the back of my mind, I get scared of being caught off guard again. How do you learn to trust again after being ghosted? How do you prevent ghosting? How do you know someone won't be kind to you only to turn on you later?
I would like to move on and find a healthy relationship with someone who will communicate openly and respectfully, and who will value me: someone that I know I can count on who will allow me to grow as a person without having to constantly worry than one mistake will sever the connection.
Any insights are appreciated.
