In my college class there's only 3 girls including me.
So, there's this cute guy (22) who is friendly with me (20) and treat me different. We always tease each other,
- Occasionally he rub/mess with my hair to say Hi.
- Always look and nod when I walk in class.
- We call each other names like bitch, dickhead, dumb ass etc..
- Theres always this friendly war between us.
- He's the only one who seems to be interested in what I have to say.
- Occasionally check up on me when I go silent in a group full of lads (they can be so boring!)
- After lunch we'd all go for a smoke. I would take longer to eat but he'd be the only one waiting for me.
- We all get the train home, he would wait to get out the class and walk to the train station with me although I live in the opposite direction.
- When I need to top up my transportation card, he'd wait for me UNLESS.. there's another lad with us.
- I sense that he would be very lowkey about all these things he do. Like, he be talking and facing the lads but also wait and sense where I'm at. He'd be acting like he's doing something, so when I leave we leave at the same time.. like "totally wasn't waiting for you".
- Any dirty/sexual jokes that pops in a group convo, he would laugh awkwardly and looks at me and my reaction.
- I put up an insta story asking if anyone wanna go for coffee on one of the Friday. (He obviously saw the story and texted me after class if I wanted to go for a coffee that day)
- We're also going to do assignments together.
Lately he seems to distance himself a little
- He used to sit right beside me when we all have lunch at a table.
- He doesn't stand next to me often anymore when we're in a group like he used to.
- We don't really text or anything
My colleague says that he just wanna fuck and is totally flirting but I don't know. The unknown slightly bothers me. I still think he's being friendly as I'm one of the most social person there. This is a tech degree and most of the lads just don't talk much and often is boring. The other 2 girls don't really talk to any of us so I don't know if he would treat other ladies differently too. (I'm very bad with these things, I used to be friend with a lad who had a crush on me for months and everyone knew, except for me.)
I've always thought nothing of it, until he teases me in front of other lads. One of them asked him "is that how you flirt bro"... obviously he said no, and that put the thought in my head and here I am asking reddit. I honestly feel stupid for not knowing.
