Is this level of investment normal in early dating?
In February I matched with a guy on a dating app. Wow our convo was good but unfortunately we couldn’t meet because of covid. We kept checking in with each other every so often to keep in touch, but he was quite bad at replying.
Anyway, finally we got to meet mid August. It was lovely and we had an instant connection, very natural. I really fancied him. After our date he stayed in touch but he didn’t text me much. We arranged our second date and it was even better than the first, talked for hours non stop, lots of laughs, a real connection. He told me he wanted to do it again soon and will be in touch.
I have been so happy until I’ve realised he hasn’t texted since our date a week ago. I would do it but I always text first.
I know he’s got some stuff going on , but could he still be interested in me but taking it slow?? Would he keep me around for so long (8 months) if he wasn’t ready for a relationship.
