So there’s this guy from uni that liked me from the first day we met, he showed this with flirting. He was also very galant, a true gentlemen (thanks to him I found out that I like the protective side of a man being applied to me), always there to help, to support. He could see when I was stressed in a class, he would ask how my presentations went. He would imply he found me cute. I resisted, regardless of the fact that he was extremely cute ( I am not the type of person to like someone only for their looks). Then I found out how smart and kind he was. And also very caring. once I asked him out, he showed up. He thought it was a party and I was bringing other people #awkward. It went fine, we had a very nice chat. But you know what? He didn’t (or didn’t want to) realize it was a date. After that he continued to be extremely nice to me. We were still chatting but not like a boy and girl who went on a date and who could continue seeing each other in that light. So step by step we became BLOODY FRIENDS And went out to the club once. Someone was hitting on me there. Several times. So one time he saw that I was uncomfortable with one guy rubbing his ass against mine, and he proposed to switch places. And then, there was another weirdo who was dancing in front of me and trying to make an eye contact, so the guy just put HIS HAND ON MY SHOULDERS as if I was his gf. Once again, this meant nothing bc he just did it and that’s it. We had parties “accidentally” just the two of us. And every time it happened we would spend hours together, either having fun in a club and him looking after me, or drinking beer and having deep conversations for 5 bloody hours. We’ve become close and I developed feelings. I can’t see him as a pure friend. During one of the last times we met he told me that during this year he had several girls he met on tinder for one night stand , so I thought he friend zoned me because of the type of information he gave. And also he has a gf from one of those tinder dates, and he told me that she is more attached to him than he is. And I think he’s dating her because he wants attention. BUT he still checking on me, we finished school, but he would find ways to get in touch, he likes my photos in ig, sees all of my stories. He invited me to a party with his friends (his gf was not there, but she lives in another city)
And finally he is leaving for another country And I still bloody don’t understand what that was And I believe that we have a strong connection between us. Like, we can’t be together for some reason, but we can’t be apart either. A year of this weirdness is long.
