So this girl I had a one night stand with on NYE... we chatted and connected well. She was pretty shy around me and took some coaxing to get her out her shell. I know she also gets quite socially anxious too and is a very introverted. Anyway, after we messaged back and forth a few times, and we agreed to hang out and vibed well. The day before, she reschedules for the day after so I agree.
On the newly rescheduled day she goes radio silent for 24 hours reappearing to say she is really sorry but she had loads of deadlines with uni and was really stressed. She offered to meet the next weekend.
I couldn't do the next weekend and said how about 22nd? That was on 11th Jan. Never heard back from her. I sent her a message about something unrelated (found a rare ingredient that we were talking about). That was on Monday 18th, and I heard back from her on wednesday 20th...
She apologised and said she didn't see my message (lol) and replied to me about the ingredient and didn't mention or say anything about the past week or so of no contact.
I haven't replied yet because I don't really know what to make of it, but in the meantime I have viewed her stories so it's not like i have an excuse either for not being prompt... Is she just playing mind games? Is she testing my interest levels? It is confusing.
I am thinking of replying and seeing how she responds just out of curiosity more than any expectation of anything. I just am so curious as to what is going on in her head. But maybe that is the point of her behaviour lol.
Any insights?
