Been lurking in this sub for a while and just wanted to say that you're all super amazing and you give great advice. So perhaps you can help me out.
I hear a lot of advice about trying apps, going out and meeting people, interacting and while yes I wholeheartedly agree that interacting is a big part not only in the dating life but making friends in general but it's a bit hard when you live in a small town an hour away from civilisation with a population of around 500. Those 500 people being in their 60s. They are (mostly) great and really nice people it's just that I'm nearly nineteen and that's a bit... so it's a bit hard for me to just "go out and meet people" especially when everyone knows everyone and in a small town like this people seem to find entertainment in spreading rumours. It's a pretty plghetto area to be completely honest.
Not to mention I indentify as a woman (biologically male) but I wouldn't necessarily call myself trans as that means I'm transitioning - which I'm not. As I said rumours spread and I can't exactly explore that part of myself without being the subject of the talk of the town and with this town, I really don't want that.
And while I am "looking" for a relationship, it's not something that needs to happen right away. These things take time and I'm in no rush really but my mind does wander, you know? I would say I'm a catch and anyone would be lucky to have me and I'll take the time to find the right person for me. I'm awesome and deserve nothing less.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read this. I'm pretty stuck to be completely honest. Hope you can help.
Edit - I don't drive for personal reasons and I can't exactly move because it's extremely cheap rent and I need that money for when I eventually move to Tokyo. Also there are no ways for me to get to civilisation. No Uber or anything of the sort, there is a bus but it's on the school route and while taxi's will come it's $130 each way which I'm extremely not keen on doing.
