Hey I don't really know what I am posting this for or why, I guess I just wanted to talk about it..
So I met this girl around 2 months ago, at first I really just wanted to be friends with her since she seem'd fun and a nice person, and I did achieve that goal. we have a pretty close 3 people group that would always hang around each other.
we got pretty close and kind of made our own "group" in our area.. I started developing feelings towards her as I got to know her more as a friend.. we would hang out after work, party during special events with other friends and just have a good time together.
I had a feeling that she was starting to treat me more and more like just a friend and felt that she was starting to draw that line slowly..
I decided that I wasn't going to let that happen and that I was going to ask her out and tell her what I felt about her.
so we had this party planned with a few people and I was planning to stay late and ask her out at the end of the night.. but things came up and I had to leave earlier than I'd like..
I had to wait until the monday when we would meet again.. and while we were talking, the dating topic came up somehow in conversation, and she shared that her and this guy are dating for about 4 days now. that would be the same night that I was about to ask her out..
now I know she and this guy don't know each other that much and I am much closer to her still at this point.. and I know that does not mean that she HAS to pick me or just because I am closer to her than he is that I deserve her more.
I still want to tell her about my feelings for her..
Should I do it knowing that she opened up about her relationship that she is trying to keep lowkey, or should I just leave it and respect her because she trusted me and thinks of me as a close friend?
