I’m not sure why I’m doing this, I guess I just want to see if anyone else is on the same boat as me.
But I’m a 26 year old female who has never had her first kiss. I grew up with very traditional, overprotective parents. Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to talk to boys or have any guy friends (which didn’t stop me) but I was never allowed to go out when I was in high school, so I never hung out with them outside of school. Once I got into college, I wasn’t allowed to dorm so I would commute to school everyday. Due to my parents being overprotective, I still wasn’t allowed to go out, only about once a month. Bc of my lack of social skills I only made a handful of friends, a few of them guys that I was never interested in and vice versa. I never got to have the college experience and still haven’t kissed anyone and am now afraid that when I start putting myself out there, if I meet someone I wouldn’t know how to tell them I’ve never had my first kiss. Or that they might think it’s weird.
If you were dating someone for a while and you really liked them, but found out that they never had their first kiss even at this age, would that change things for you?
