Is it just me or do some dudes get worked up seeing a guy and girl enjoying each other's company?

I don't spend a lot of time with girls, but when I do there's always a lot of energy, a lot of motion, a lot of fun, a lot of high fiving, and a lot of smiles. Yet there always seems to be some incident where some dude is getting bent out of shape taking up issue with something we're doing. What the hell, asshole?
