My question really is what would be the best way to go about dating (or attempting to date) when you have pretty bad anxiety? or is this something i should not even try? (I know this a pretty common problem but i thought id take my shot)
For context: im opposed to going out, i go out to bars, arcades, conventions with friends semi regularly. Though the problem usually comes up when interacting with someone new. Even the kindest people who approach me makes my throat seize up, my heart race and my eyes dart directly away from their general direction. The worst part is that i feel so guilty for what feels like involuntary rejection from my part. I dont like making others feel bad for trying to be nice or flirty towards me and noticing my negative reaction either.
(also tried dating apps/online dating with no luck)
