I’m(25F) in a relationship with my guy(M33) for a year now, pur relationship is not doing great from beginning but recently he said that I’m the reason he don’t smile around me. That was very hurtful for me.

We have been dating each other for a quite long time, but we’re having lot of issues regards to compatibility emotional connection etc. He always behave cranky around me and says I irritate him all the time even if I don’t intend anything he gets pissed at me. Last week we were drinking together and I casually asked him why don’t you smile often to that he said “you’re the reason I don’t smile”. That did hurt me like a knife. Coming this from that one special person you love is unbearable. I don’t know what to do.
