I went on a first date last Saturday with a guy I’d been talking for a couple of weeks. The date went really well — he even extended it because he said he was having a good time and asked to see me again. He was affectionate, held my hand, and everything felt natural.
But when he dropped me off, things got awkward. He leaned in to kiss me, but I accidentally turned away at the wrong moment. I got nervous, said thank you, and kind of rushed out of the car. I could tell he seemed a little thrown off.
Since then… nothing. It’s been almost a week with no text. We still have each other on social media and he’s been viewing my stories, but no message.
Should I reach out?
Has too much time passed for me to reach out? I wanted to text him the next day, but I felt awkward because I sensed he was a bit upset at the accidental rejection. Should I just let it go or send something simple? Help. This is the first date where i was genuinely interested in a guy :(
