Hello! So this is technically my first time out in the dating scene well… ever. I’m a 24 year old woman and for 11 years I was in 2 long term relationships kinda one after the other. One lasted 9 years and one lasted 2. Neither were very good or filled with romance, kinda just 2 really deep friendships. I’ve been single for a bit now (very much needed after that) and am now getting back out there. It’s my first time using dating apps, and I think I’ve really clicked with this guy but I am completely hopeless when it comes to picking up on flirting or flirting back. I want to show this guy I’m like. Very interested. But don’t want to come off as too strong/forward/weird. How does one learn the tact of flirting without looking like a complete idiot? Do you ever get over the feeling of sending a slightly flirty text and wanting to turn your phone off for 3 business days? I’m sure I could google that but I kinda want to hear from others who might’ve been in my situation before. And I know 24 isn’t that old, like at all, but I feel so left behind. Being in long term relationships from such a young age really stunted my romantic growth, so I’m lost! Advice on quite literally anything dating is welcomed, but especially how to deal with something like this
