I (hs senior) like a girl (hs sophomore) and I want to be with her, but I just can't figure out if she likes me. We started texting each other about 3 weeks ago and we've texted each other quite a bit everyday since then. We play game pigeon a lot but sometimes we have longer conversations in between games. We've also played League of Legends and Minecraft together as well. Because of our grade difference we only have one class together, but during that class I notice her looking over at me every now and then and she smiles. Recently I've started talking to her more in the hallways. What confuses me is that sometimes she leaves me on read and sometimes she just doesn't respond to game pigeon messages or my texts. She also doesn't seem to actively seek me out in the hallways during school to talk to me or anything. In fact, she has a group of sophomores that she hangs out with a lot. Every morning she goes straight to them before class starts and during lunch she goes to them as well. I tried to ask her to lunch one day, but unfortunately she was out of town that day, yet when she told me that she just kept playing game pigeon and kinda brushed off the topic. I might be overthinking this, but I'm just so confused and I need someone to help me out.
