“It’ll happen when you least expect it”

23 (M). What exactly do people mean when they say this? I know it’s not a good idea to chase women but then people also tell me I need to make the first move since women are less likely to approach men first... So should I just do nothing? If I do nothing then I’m even less likely to end up in a relationship
