Not sure what to think about a quite strange event that happened a few months back

Hi,

A few months ago I contacted an old female classmate of mine and started to talk again. (I am a guy)

We talked for several weeks and she seemed responsive and engaged in conversation. Eventually I invited her to ride the bike together. She said yes. I contacted her on the day we arranged to meet and she tells me "Yes, we are preparing to go now". I was surprised by this "we". She does not have any pictures with a guy on facebook and I had no idea she has a boyfriend. She comes there with her "boyfriend" which is actually a mutual friend, although I did not talk to him or her for that matter for a few years.

We rode bikes, we talked and had a pretty good time actually.

However after a few weeks I started to realize that the situation was actually pathetic for me. I am used to being treated like literal garbage by women and that is why I did not make anything of the situation on that day. I now realize that if this happened to a guy who actually has some little drops of self esteem left he would actually be pissed. I think what she did is borderline insulting.

I found out later that they are not even together. They only have sex but they are not actually together. This makes the situation even more pathetic.

I am confused and not sure what to think about this situation. How do you view this event? Is it weird to be a little angry about it?
