We're both 30
She and I went out for a night after her breakup and have gotten very close since. She asked me to go out and was breaking the touch barrier a lot. We had a good time, and it's been almost month since her breakup and three since mine so I think I gotta ask her out already, especially after this week
Every time we see each other seems like we unconsciously raise our eyebrows at each other. We've bonded over our struggles with our jobs and how we deal with pretending to like it, also over our mental health.
As it is, my therapist said it doesn't seem as a friends relationship anymore, especially how she was throwing herself at me and then went cold for a little while, cancelling plans she suggested
But this week we hung out twice at her apartment, first time since we originally went out, she invited me. We walked her dogs and stayed with them for a while playing and hanging out.
She made random weird sounds when we were at her house when there was silence. It was such a cute way to break the silence and I'm glad she feels comfortable enough to do that. She spent time looking for eyedrops I needed when share didn't really have to, but it was really nice to see she cared after how much I have shown her I care too. She also seemed excited to show me this new card game she bought. I told her to let me know whenever she wants to do it again and she said "I will"
She says her life is 100% about her three dogs and her family so just the fact that she allows me to see them, walk them, play with them, even feed them and make jokes about them is big to me
Our last interaction was again started by her today when she saw me, asked how things were doing. We ended up talking about random shit including sex, which she also seemed comfortable with. Before saying goodbye I told her to bite her dogs this weekend for me and she giggled while looking back at me.
I hope she sees how much I appreciate the entry she's given me into her life
