I’m a 21 year old female and after talking to the guy I’m dating (he is also 21) about being serious he says he isn’t ready for a relationship. I’ve heard most guys say this with some truth “I’m not ready for a relationship” but they leave out the “with you” part. How do I know if he’s being honest? He just left a 3 year relationship and the excuses he’s given me for not wanting to date are “I’m not ready for a relationship” “I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to give you what you need” “had I met you a year from now things would be different”. He just introduced me to his parents as “the girl I’ve been seeing” is this a sign that it’s going well or should I run for the hills? (We’ve been dating for 2 months)
