I'm talking to this girl but I don't know if she is gay and its her personality or she likes

I (21 Male) started talking to a girl (20) in my class, we helped each other with something and after that we started texting on the daily. At first I kinda liked her, she talks a lot about LGBTQ related topics whit her friends and I saw a photo on her socials of her kissing another girl. so I just started think that she might be gay and that we where just friends. so fast forward a couple days of texting we decided to meet at my placater a while we started getting closer on the couch but I couldn't figure if I should make a move after a while of being close on the couch we said goodbye and hugged very tight. I was just left confused (Note: I know that her first date was with a guy and she talked about a guy in our class that liked her but she didn't like back) Any advise to figure things out
