Is it a red flag if a guy gives you too much attention before meeting you the first time?

I met a guy on bumble. We had one phone conversation on the app and agreed To meet on Saturday for brunch.

He messaged me his number and I texted him so we could coordinate about Saturday. He won’t stop texting me now, if I don’t respond he’ll double text.

Would this turn others off or I am weird? I’m almost completely uninterested at this point because he seems way too interested in me and we haven’t even met yet.
