Just some general advice, or perhaps an observation:
Don't date someone who seems to "have themselves figured out" to compensate for avoiding your own issues.
A lot of times, we're attracted to what we want to see in ourselves. That's ok and it can be motivating and aspirational. Maybe it makes us a little insecure. We can even learn a lot from that person, but...
If you meet someone who seems they are into bettering themselves - growth, personal development, they're confident (or try to be), someone you can see yourself bringing home to your parents, want to be a good partner, maybe they're in therapy, seem happy with who they are, etc...
Don't think that means you aren't responsible for your own growth and improvement.
Step up.
