Hey! I’m a college student and I matched with a guy I have seen around campus a few times (def my type). We were texting and he seemed like he was hinting at a hookup but I said 2 times, I’m down to hangout and not go farther than making out.
Anyway, he ended up coming over at 12:30AM (he had an event but I also think there is a chance he was pushing it back intentionally). He threw out the idea of staying over. Anyway he comes over and he is a lot more quiet than I was expecting. I’m not sure if it was just nerves but it was giving an introvert that needs to warm up to you. He did seem like a respectful guy, he asked if it was okay if he moved closer, and I said yes (we started cuddling). We were playing a game and I was trying to throw in related convo so it wasn’t just us playing a game bc that would be awkward asf. I tried but he wasn’t as talkative so it was kind of awkward. Then he moved his arm and we were kind of in an awkward cuddling position 😭 anyway he went to the bathroom and I noticed he didn’t wash his hands (I think he may have told his friend to call him). A couple mins after that, he gets a call that his friend is drunk and needs to get picked up (normal college situation lol). Anyway he went to leave and wasn’t gonna say anything so I said bye and then 10ish mins after he left, he removed me from tinder and social media.
I imagine the awkwardness of the situation influenced it but I wonder if he thought a hookup was still a possibility even though I told him that wasn’t going to happen. He made a comment early on during the hangout, which was a hint to progress to kissing but i purposely ignored it bc it hadn’t even been 10 minutes yet. Like let’s chat a little bit 😂 so idk if he was like, never mind this isn’t a hookup or it was just awkward. Just sharing my experience. I’m a little disappointed it didn’t go well, hurt he unadded me, but I’m also glad that it didn’t drag on. I’m aware him mentioning staying over and time of the event hinted toward a hookup but I explicitly told him twice I don’t do hookups. Comments are appreciated, please keep them respectful
