Okay so some background info. I’m a barista working at a Starbucks, this one girl who works at a movie theatre always comes in for coffee or sandwich what ever before/after her shift. We never really talked just “ hi what can I get for you” or “thank you have a good day!!!”. I started to recognize her and thought she was cute. I happened to have friends who work the same place as her and knows her so I tell them that and they said she liked me.
Soooooo they go on and on telling me to add her snap. Whatever. Ok I do it and we start talking and set up plans this weekend to get to know each more & go ice skating.
Now I’m here being really nervous about it even though it’s a couple days, I never really had anything like this happened. (My friends said alot of guys liked her as well which makes it more nerve wrecking for me) All of my crushes always failed miserably and doesn’t go anywhere but this time it’s going somewhere. My friend said she’s into me but wants to see if we’re actually capable of being in a relationship. That’s what really scares me or makes me nervous since I’ve never been in one nor how to handle one. I feel like this weekend is gonna be a train wreck of it being silent and not much talking since I’m not sure how I’m going to handle it on top of never really talking to her either. (Also note I’m 16 & she’s 17, not sure if it makes anything different)
